Birmingham Squadron Announce 2023-24 Schedule

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The NBA G League officially announced the 2023-24 Showcase Cup and regular season schedules for the Birmingham Squadron Tuesday.

Highlighted by 24 home games, the Squadron begin their third campaign at Legacy Arena on Nov. 10 for opening night against the Austin Spurs.

During the pre-holiday break Showcase portion of the season, Birmingham is in the South region along with Austin, the Mexico City Capitanes, Texas Legends, Oklahoma City Blue, Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Memphis Hustle and Osceola Magic.

This season, the Squadron will take part in the NBA G League Winter Showcase event once again. The event is scheduled for Dec. 19-23 at a neutral site.

The 2023-24 NBA G League regular season tips off on Dec. 29, with the Squadron moving to the Eastern Conference and opening on the road against the Indiana Mad Ants. Birmingham’s first regular season home game is scheduled for Jan. 5 when the Squad hosts the Sioux Falls Skyforce.

With its change to the Eastern Conference, Birmingham faces six new opponents, the Cleveland Charge, Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Motor City Cruise, Long Island Nets, Westchester Knicks and Windy City Bulls, for the first time in franchise history.
