Specialty Jerseys

Over the team's three seasons in the Magic City, the Squadron have worn various specialty jerseys, both in partnership with our Corporate Partners, as well as in celebration of our vibrant Birmingham community. For more information on our specialty jerseys, send an email to our corporate partnerships department.

Children's of Alabama Hero Jerseys - March 10, 2024

In partnership with Children’s of Alabama, the Birmingham Squadron wore specialty hero-themed uniforms featuring the names of Children’s of Alabama patients instead of player names on the back nameplate of the jerseys. The red, navy and gold jersey is highlighted by the Squadron wordmark and Squadron star on the front of the jersey. The back of the jersey featured the patient’s name, in addition to the marks for Children’s of Alabama. Each jersey was given to the player's patient match following the game at Legacy Arena.

Tribute to the Birmingham Black Barons Jerseys - January 13 and 15, 2024

In honor and celebration of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend and to pay homage to Birmingham’s role in the Civil Rights Movement, as well as its place in the history of the integration of sports, the Birmingham Squadron wore specialty jerseys honoring the Birmingham Black Barons over Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Weekend in 2024. Game-worn jerseys were signed by each respective player and proceeds from the auction of the uniforms were donated to the Negro Southern League Museum in Birmingham.

Marvel Black Panther Jerseys - December 30, 2022

In partnership with Memory Lane and Marvel, the Squadron donned these Black Panther-inspired jerseys following the holiday break of the team's second season in Birmingham. The jerseys were auctioned on-site at the game and proceeds from the sale of the game-worn uniforms were donated to Alchemy Cares, a local nonprofit organization in the Birmingham metro area.

Tune Squad Jerseys - March 31, 2022

These vintage Tune Squad custom jerseys, in partnership with Memory Lane, made their appearance when the Birmingham Squadron went up against the Stockton Kings back in March of 2022 in the Squadron's inaugural season in the Magic City. Designed to make Birmingham the "good guys," just like Michael Jordan's team in the classic film Space Jam, the Squadron hosted a night full of fun in a 116-106 win against the Kings.
